Your paycheck
Same gross pay. More of it reaches you.
The premium for the plan comes out of your pay before federal and FICA taxes are figured, so less of your pay is taxed. The plan’s benefits come back to you. In the program’s design, that leaves about $85.48 more a month on a $50,000 salary. Lower pay means a smaller gain; the enrollment team shows your own figure before the plan starts.
What stays the same
- Your medical plan, doctors and deductible.
- Your gross pay.
- Any other benefits your employer offers today.
Enrollment
You start enrolled. You can choose to opt out.
Every eligible employee starts in the plan and gets written notice of the plan and the payroll deduction before it starts. If you would rather not take part, you can opt out; the enrollment team explains how and when. Quantum 125 employers typically see 86–92% participation.
